Visitation: Private Service: Private Cemetery: Private    Jean Elizabeth (Heath) Sund "Grammy Jean," "Aunt Jean" Auntie Jean" 63, of 470 West Broadway, Gardner, passed away on Thursday July 15, 2010 at Health Alliance Hospital following a cardiac related event. Jean was born June 16, 1947 in the city of Gardner, to the late Harold and Virginia (Smallwood) Heath. On May 30, 1969 she married Steven C. Sund in Templeton, Massachusetts. Jean was a master seamstress and enjoyed making clothing. Most of her life was spent working with people. She cared for many children in her home throughout the years. Before retiring in 2003, she drove school bus for Fred Hardy Bus Co. for 15 years. She enjoyed working with children and adults with special needs. After retiring, Jean devoted her life to being a full-time grandmother, mother, and best friend. Jean enjoyed being on the go and was often referred to as the energizer bunny. She loved to shop and enjoyed sewing, knitting, going to the movies, camping at the beach and spending time with the people she loved. Besides her husband, Jean will be sadly missed by one son; Eric A. Sund of Gardner, one daughter; Suzanne M. Conrad and her husband Andrew of Gardner, two grandchildren; Mason and Riley Conrad, both of Gardner; one sister; Shirley Varnum of Athol, her twin brother; John Heath and his wife Donna of Phillipston, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. To all who knew and loved her she will be sadly missed. At Jean's Request funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the fmaily.
