Norma P. Martin, 84, of 39 Hillside Meadows Dr., Southampton, Massachusetts, formerly of Winchendon, died at home Monday, February 15, 2010 after a brief illness.
Norma was born in Winchendon on October 6, 1925 and lived in Belchertown and Springfield before moving to Southampton many years ago. Norma loved music so much and took part in many musical programs with her friends.
She will be sadly missed by her only niece; Barbara L. Brown and her husband Richard of Suffield, Connecticut. Norma also leaves two grand nephews and one grand niece. Her sister, Pauline M. Dickey of Holyoke, died in 2004.
Norma's family and friends are planning to honor and celebrate her life by gathering for her funeral service in FLETCHER-HEBERT FUNERAL HOME, 70 Pleasant St., Winchendon on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11 AM. Rev. Francis A. Roberge, Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Winchendon will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon.
