Robert "Bubba" W. LeBlanc, Jr., 43, of Gardner, died unexpectedly Monday, February 1, 2010 at home.

Bob, son of Pauline M. (Beane) LeBlanc and the late Robert W. LeBlanc, was born in Athol on September 14, 1966. He lived in Baldwinville and attended Baldwinville schools until the seventh grade. He and his family then moved to Gardner where he has lived ever since. He graduated from Gardner High School, Class of 1984. Bob has been a truck driver with LeBlanc and Sons Trucking, Inc. in Gardner for 22 years.

He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Gardner and the Gardner Lodge of Elks, #1426. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots and enjoyed cooking, fishing listening to music and playing the guitar. Above all, Bob will be remembered as a kind, giving man who was always there to lend a hand when it was needed.

Bob will be sadly missed by his beloved wife; Linda M. (Theriault) LeBlanc, whom he wed September 2, 2006, his mother; Pauline M. (Beane) LeBlanc of Gardner, two sisters; Susan D. LeBlanc of Winchendon and Marjorie A. LeBlanc and her boyfriend Paul Rech of Gardner, his stepson; Nicholas R. Genovese of Gardner and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother; Scott D. LeBlanc in 1984.

Family and friends are planning to honor and celebrate Bob's life by gathering for a funeral service in Lamoureux-Fletcher Community Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11 AM. Fr. William Hobbs will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville. Calling hours in the funeral home are from 5-8 pm on Friday, February 5, 2010.
